This is what Disney World's new solar farm looks like from the sky

Redditor MountainMadman posted this image of Disney World's new solar farm, which began construction last October.

One blogger suggests that it's the largest Mickey Mouse head in the world, calculating the design area (though not the total solar panel surface area) at over 500,000 square feet.

Mickey Mouse's Solar Head is located near Epcot Centre in Florida and consists of over 48,000 solar panels. Duke Energy started construction last May. The Orlando Sentinel has more details on the project itself.

Since Disney owns Star Wars, I'm wondering if the company will start building solar farms shaped like TIE Fighters some time soon...
